GROW UP!!

I normally don't do this, I don't get too personal on this here blog.  And I definitely do not get political.  But you know what, when I read this article, it pushed me over the edge!!  So you know what, this is my blog, I'm going to give my 2 cents!!

Take a minute ~ go read the article so you know why I'm ranting.  It's short... I'll wait...

OK, SERIOUSLY AMERICA!!!  GROW THE F********* UP!!!!!!!

I'm not a fan of Obama.  I wasn't a fan of Bush.  I'm honestly not really political.  I think at this point, until God is allowed to take some control over this country again, no man, Republican or Democrat is going to make a whole lot of difference to the state of our world.

But to seriously slam a man's business simply because he choose to give the President of the United States a bear hug????  ARE WE FIVE?????  My 2 year old is more mature than this!!

So what if you don't agree with the friendly pizza man?  Do something about it November 6th!!  Leave his source of income and his hard work alone!  No one's coming to your place of business and slamming you because you would have chosen to give the bear hug to Romney.  So leave it alone.

We're raising a generation of bullies because they see their parents do crap like this and think its OK.  They are being taught that if anyone thinks differently than you then they are wrong so just go ahead and slam them and destroy them however you want.

I'm so proud to be an American right now!

So, there you have it.  There's my political rant.

I will now gladly go back to sharing recipes.

  1. I have to agree with you, Jamie. The date 9/11 should remind us that Americans died on that day, not Republicans or Democrats. The political acrimony in this country has stalemated every effort for anyone in this country to govern and it needs to stop! The attitude on both sides in Congress of "my way, or the highway" has produced nothing for the betterment of the United States! That is why I am registered to vote as an Independent as I want no part of either political party.

  2. OK I am with you on this. I try and stay clear of voicing my opinion because I AM tired of the stones being thrown from all sides. I want to know how they will help grow our country NOT the lack of! Here is too hoping my VOTE counts in November! Great post!

  3. I refuse to be part or either party because they are BOTH so screwed up. I agree with you - the place to hash it out is by casting a vote in November. :)

  4. Agreed. Thank you for sharing. We need to keep our anger in check before we destroy each other. We are all entitled to our opinions and beliefs, political, religious or otherwise. Loved your point about raising a generation of bullies. Sad but true. Our children learn from our example. Let's all try to set a better example for the sake of our children and America as a whole.

  5. Wouldn't it be nice if all hate disappeared? Maybe it will happen in our kids' lifetime...
